Well, last Sunday’s Farmers Market was a huge success. It was great not only for sales but I also had some wonderful feedback from returning customers who gave me lots of new ideas and a couple of commissions.
A very enthusiastic lady asked me if I could give her one to one tuition in wet felting and needle felting, I pointed out that as yet I have not taught felt making but “Yes” I would love to.
My other exciting bit of news from Lavenham was that 2 more of my hats have sold. These were in Elizabeth Gash’s shop in the market square, apparently the customer loved them both so much that she bought one for herself and one for her sister. It’s a great feeling to know that my creations will be loved and enjoyed.
Moving on to this coming Sunday, (June Ist) its time for The Ickworth Wool Fair. This is being held at Ickworth House near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. I have been really looking forward to this as I have happy memories of being involved in their Sheep and Shepherding Days. I am crossing my fingers for lots of sunshine but my gazebo will be close by! Do please check out this event as it sounds as if it is going to be great day.
Maybe I will see some of you there? More news soon K x
